Privacy policy

Who runs this site
is a free, independent guide to brewing pour-over coffee. You can reach us at .
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you directly. There are no accounts, forms, comments or newsletters, and we don't run our own analytics or tracking.
Hosting logs. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Fonts and code are served from this site itself, not from third-party CDNs.
Cookies and local storage
The guide itself needs no cookies. We store one small value in your browser's local storage to remember your cookie choice, so we don't ask again on every visit. It never leaves your device.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Advertising
We show ads from Google AdSense to help keep the site free. Where the law requires consent, ads only use cookies after you've agreed. When they do, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure them, and (if you allow it) personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites.

- Google's ad settings, where you can turn off personalised ads
- aboutads.info to opt out of personalised ads from other vendors
Affiliate links
Some gear links are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The retailer (for example Amazon) may set cookies once you're on their site to track the referral. Their privacy policy applies there.
Buy Me a Coffee
The "Buy me a coffee" button links to buymeacoffee.com. Nothing is loaded from them until you click it. If you choose to support us there, their privacy policy applies to that payment.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we don't hold personal data ourselves, most requests are best made to the services named above. We're happy to help: just email .
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
